About Cub Guide

My wife has been a teacher for over fifteen years. She loves her students. She loves watching them grow. What she doesn't love is the paperwork.

Over the years, I watched her come home exhausted. Not from teaching, but from the time spent tracking student behavior in binders, logging notes on stickies, and piecing together reports from spreadsheets that were never designed for the classroom. Hours of work that had nothing to do with the reason she became a teacher.

I've spent fifteen years building software products. I know what good tools feel like. And I knew the tools she was using weren't good enough for someone doing work as important as hers.

So I built Cub Guide.

The goal was simple: give educators a way to track, analyze, and communicate student behavior and academic data without the chaos. Less time on paperwork. More time with students.

Every teacher deserves tools that work as hard as they do. That's what Cub Guide is here to be.
